description

Opened on September 28, 2006, the 435 meter long bridge with six viewing platforms and five fun elements (tube slide, suspension bridge, sky boa, plate bridge, jungle bridge) has height differences of five to 20 m. The bridge project, which is unique in Germany, is supported by 17 columns. 410 tons of steel and 1200 cubic meters of concrete were used. The investment volume was around two million euros.

The structure erected in a north-west-south-east direction crosses the Winterberg bobsleigh run , the Winterberg summer toboggan run and the Winterberg bike park at one point . A nature experience path with 14 stations connects to the end tower of the bridge.

From the bridge you can see the Rothaargebirge, the aforementioned sports facilities and the Winterberg ski lift carousel with the Cap ski area and the St. Georg Schanze .
