Panoramabilder is a daily morning TV program on BR TV , ARD-alpha and 3sat , which was partly subtitled Bergwetter . Mainly high-resolution live images are shown from Bavarian, Austrian and Swiss locations in the Alps, but also from Munich , Nuremberg and the rest of Bavaria, and occasionally from South Tyrol or the Mediterranean region.
In the lower edge of the screen, information about the current local weather, as well as weather forecasts, ski slopes, opening times, etc. is displayed.
The images are accompanied by local folk music, which has now appeared on CDs and can be purchased from Bayerischer Rundfunk.
As a rule, the panorama pictures run from Sunday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:58 a.m. on Bavarian television and on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. In exceptional cases (usually on Sundays and public holidays) the live transmission of the images ends a little earlier. In addition, the panorama pictures are sometimes shown between 6.45 a.m. and 7.15 a.m.
