Paolo Bordoni

Paolo Bordoni (born July 22, 1942 in Bergamo ) is an Italian pianist who became internationally known for his complete edition of Franz Schubert's waltzes .

Life

Studied in Rome with Gobbi Belcredi and in Paris with Magda Tagliaferro . Appearances as a song accompanist a. a. at the Schubertiade in Hohenems . In 1988 he debuted in the United States , where he worked in Charleston , together with the New York Orchestra , conducted by Raymond Leppard , Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 aufführte.

He is currently a lecturer at the Accademia Musicale Pescarese.
