Paolo Collaviti (born February 2, 1978 in Lyss ) is a former Swiss - Italian football player and goalkeeper .
Career
Before the turn of the millennium, Collaviti played at SV Lyss. From there he moved to BSC Young Boys as a substitute goalkeeper . After four years he left the Bernese for Servette FC Genève . Since they were forced to relegate due to a scandal, he moved to FC Luzern that same year . He was unable to assert himself there either and was signed by Concordia Basel . A season later he was hired again by the Berners and got the chance to keep the goal in the first games of the season due to an injury to Marco Wölfli .
In July 2010 he decided to end his active career. Collaviti will stay with the Bernese as a goalkeeper scout . Goalkeeping coach with the Bernese Young Boys since summer 2012.
