Paolo Gillet
Paolo Gillet (born July 8, 1928 in Rome ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Albano .
Life
Paolo Gillet was a seminarist at the Almo Collegio Capranica and was ordained a priest on September 19, 1953 . John Paul II appointed him Auxiliary Bishop in Albano and Titular Bishop of Germa in Galatia on December 7, 1993 .
The Pope personally consecrated him bishop on January 6 of the next year ; Co-consecrators were Giovanni Battista Re , substitute for the State Secretariat , and Josip Uhač , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples .
On February 22, 2005, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
