The paraneoplastic pemphigus is as much as the erythema gyratum repens , erythema migrans necrotizing , hypertrichosis lanuginosa acquisita and acanthosis nigricans to the obligatory paraneoplasia . This blistering disease is almost always associated with a tumor. In some of the cases is for the occurrence of paraneoplastic pemphigus of Castleman's disease is based.

In the histology to find Akantholysen and dyskeratosis . There is accumulation of immunoglobulins on the basement membrane with antibodies against desmoplactin I and II, BP antigen , desmoglein and others.

Appearance

The lesions of paraneoplastic pemphigus do not correspond to the “classic” pemphigus vulgaris , but are polymorphic. The clinical picture offers a mixture of pemphigus vulgaris and erythema exudativum multiforme . The skin but also the mucous membranes and the oral cavity can be affected.
