The Parco regional Grigna Settentrionale (German Regional Park Nördlicher Grigna ) is a regional park founded in 2005 , comparable to a nature park , in the southern Alps in the Italian province of Lecco in Lombardy . It covers an area of ​​5548 km² east of Lake Como . In the regional park lies the mountain range Grigna with two main peaks, the north peak Grigna settentrionale or Grignone ( 2410  m slm ) and the south peak Grigna meridionale or Grignetta ( 2177  m slm ). The altitude goes from 500 m to 2410 m. The park is located in the Comunità montana della Valsassina, Valvarrone, Val d'Esino e Riviera . It lies in the territory of the municipalities of Cortenova , Esino Lario , Parlasco , Pasturo , Perledo , Primaluna , Taceno and Varenna .
