Electoral system

Election result
The winner of the election was the Communist Party of the Republic of Moldova (PCRM). She got 30.01 percent of the vote and got 40 seats in parliament. The electoral bloc "Democratic Assembly of Moldova" (BeCDM) landed in second place with 19.42 percent . The third strongest force was the electoral bloc "For a Democratic and Wealthy Moldova" (BepMDP) with 18.16 percent.
