Parliamentary elections in Lebanon 1996

Parliamentary elections were held in Lebanon between August 18 and September 15, 1996. Independent candidates won the majority of the seats, although most of them were considered members of different blocs. The turnout was 43.3 percent. There were 1,113,130 voters.
