Parliament Street
Parliament Street (Engl. Parliament street is) the name of a 50-meter-long street in the southern English city of Exeter . It has connected High Street with Waterbeer Lane since the 14th century. The alley got its current name when the city council mocked the Law Reform Act 1832 .
Originally the street was called Small Lane , which roughly means small alley . The name was obvious because according to the Guinness Book of Records it was the narrowest street in the world at 1.20 meters at its widest point and less than 64 centimeters at its narrowest point . The Spreuerhofstrasse in Reutlingen, Baden-Württemberg, is now considered the world's narrowest street. Both are actually not streets, in the sense of a route.
