Parodia saint-pieana is a species of plant in the genus Parodia in the cactus family(Cactaceae). The specific epithet saint-pieana honors the French Paul Saint-Pie from the Côte d'Azur .

Parodia saint-pieana sprouts abundantly and forms cushions. The flattened spherical to spherical shoots reach a diameter of up to 6 centimeters. The roughly 22 spirally arranged ribs are subdivided into clear conical cusps. The areoles on them are yellowish white. The central spines cannot be distinguished from the radial spines. The approximately 17 straight radial spines are yellow or light brown and up to 0.3 inches long.
The bright yellow flowers reach lengths of up to 2.5 centimeters and the same diameter. Its pericarpel and the flower tube are sparsely felted and covered with bristles along their entire length. The scars are pale yellow. The thin-walled, almost spherical fruits turn olive-brown when ripe. They have a diameter of 0.4 centimeters. The fruits contain shiny dark brown seeds 0.6 millimeters long and 0.5 millimeters wide.
Distribution and systematics
Parodia saint-pieana is common in the Argentine province of Jujuy and possibly also in the province of Salta .
The first description by Curt Backeberg was published in 1957. A nomenclature synonym is Bolivicactus saint-pieanus (Backeb.) Doweld (2000).
