Parsons Outcrop is a 55 m high, S-shaped, 150 m long and 50 m wide ledge on the Budd coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It rises up in the Løken moraines near Casey Station .
Scientists from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions set up a surveying station here in 1978, including a 1.5 m high flagpole. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the rock in 1979 after Rod Parsons, who was involved in this work.
