Thomas Nisters

Thomas Nisters (* 1955 ) is a German philosopher .

Life

In 1981 he passed the first state examination and in 1985 the second state examination. After receiving his doctorate in 1987, he was a visiting fellow in 1993 at the Faculty of Arts at University College, Galway . From 1985 to 1994 he was a research assistant at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . From 1994 to 2006 he was a high school teacher in Brühl and Cologne . Since 2006 he has been the coordinator of subject didactics at the Philosophical Seminar of the University of Cologne . In 2012 he completed his habilitation .

His main research interests are emotions as a subject in the subject “Philosophy u. Practical Philosophy ”, methods of independent philosophizing in the subject of philosophy and practical philosophy and conceptual work in school philosophy lessons.
