Parsua Bashi

Parsua Bashi (born April 22, 1966 in Tehran ) is an Iranian graphic designer , fashion designer and author .

Bashi studied graphic design at the University of Tehran between 1984 and 1989 and has received several awards for her exhibited works. In 1999 she published her first children's book with illustrations she had created . After her divorce in Iran, she was no longer allowed to have contact with her daughter. From 2004 to 2009 she lived in Zurich . There she processed her life in Iran in her comic Nylon Road and explained her reasons for leaving the country. In 2009 she returned to Tehran and has been designing book covers as well as theater and concert posters ever since.
