The Partenavia P.68 Victor , now Vulcanair P68 , is a twin-engine light aircraft from Italy , originally manufactured by Partenavia and since the acquisition of the rights by Vulcanair .
History and equipment
The first flight of the prototype of the Partenavia P.68 (Victor) took place in May 1970. This prototype had a rigid three-legged landing gear and piston engine engines . The next test aircraft were called Partenavia P.68A . From 1974 the first series machines were delivered under the designation Partenavia P.68B , these had a fuselage 15.2 centimeters longer than the first test copies. In 1979 the next version, the Partenavia P.68C , came on the market with some changes in the cabin interior as well as a longer hull for a weather radar and a larger tank. In 1980 the next version of this series came on the market under the name Partenavia P.68C-TC . The Observer version was derived from this by Sportavia-Pützer . The next development stage of the Partenavia P.68C-TC, the Partenavia AP.68 Turbo , had a larger tank and a retractable landing gear. Then another variant was brought out under the name Partenavia AT.68TP-600 , again with a rigid chassis.
In 1983, the "Spartacus" was the first version that was equipped with a propeller turbine . The highly developed and stretched version AP68TP-600 "Viator" or "A-Viator" is equipped with a Rolls-Royce - or Allison - turbine drive and retractable undercarriage.
