The Partschins waterfall is a waterfall and a hydrological natural monument in the municipality of Partschins in South Tyrol ( northern Italy ).
description
The waterfall is part of the Lodnerferner springing which Zieltal draining target Bach. Above the village is the almost 100 meter high vertical rock step. In the further course the Zielbach flows into the Etsch near Töll .
In 2005 the waterfall was declared a natural monument due to its aesthetic features.
There are various reports that confirm the health-promoting microclimate near the waterfall. The study by the Technical University of Munich confirms that the water is not very mineralized and has a high concentration of rubidium. This trace element, which is involved in the transmission of nerve impulses in the central nervous system, is also contained in sea, mineral and thermal water. The particle concentration of the air around the waterfall is 800 and 1200 / cm³. The extraordinarily good air quality is therefore comparable with the world's best clean air areas over the north-east Atlantic and the Antarctic.
