Pascal Schmidt (born May 2, 1993 in Stuttgart ) is a German soccer player.

Career

Pascal Schmidt began playing football at SV Germania Bietigheim and then played in the youth at SGV Freiberg . This was followed by a move to youth at VfB Stuttgart , where Schmidt played 6 games in both the B-Junior Bundesliga and A-Junior Bundesliga . In the summer of 2011 he moved to the Stuttgart Kickers U19 and played in the second team in the same season. For the 2012/13 season he stayed with the Kickers U23 and made his professional debut on October 6, 2012 in a 3-0 win against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt when he was substituted on in the 89th minute. After the 2013/14 season he left Kickers to pursue his international studies. Schmidt went to Simon Fraser University in Vancouver , Canada . He took part in the NCAA competitions with the university's own soccer team.
