Paso Guesalaga ( Spanish ) is a strait in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It runs between the east coast of King George Island and the offshore Simpson Rocks .

Chilean scientists named it in 1947 after Federico Guesalaga Toro, head of the First Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947).
