Paso de Carrasco , also known as Paso Carrasco , is a city in Uruguay .

geography

It is located on the extreme south-western tip of the Department Canelones in its sector 37 . Its southeast side borders on Barra de Carrasco , in the east on Parque Carrasco , to the north on the airport of Montevideo and the Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco of the same name . In the southwest and west, the Arroyo Carrasco forms the border to the neighboring district of Montevideo and the Montevidean districts of Carrasco Norte and Carrasco .

history

On October 15, 1963, Paso de Carrasco was declared a pueblo by the Ley 13,167 .
