Carrasco Norte is a district ( barrio ) of the Uruguayan capital Montevideo .

Location and geography

It is located on the eastern outskirts of Montevideo in the southeast of the city. To the west, mainly separated from Carrasco Norte by the Avenida Bolivia , are the districts of Punta Gorda and Las Canteras . Bañados de Carrasco connects to the north . The borderline is the Camino Carrasco . To the east, the Arroyo Carrasco forms the border to the neighboring Canelones . The Barrio Carrasco is located in the south . Here, for the most part, Avenida Italia and Calle Gral.Maximo Tajes form the demarcation between the two districts. The area of Carrasco Norte is the municipality E assigned.

Description and infrastructure

The French embassy residence , the Liceo Stella Maris and the Scuola Italiana di Montevideo are located in Carrasco Norte . The Estadio El Tanque Sisley is also located here in the park of the same name and a few hundred meters west of the Plaza Capri .
