Jardines del Hipódromo is a district ( barrio ) of the Uruguayan capital Montevideo .

It is shared by the districts of Piedras Blancas (north), Villa García - Manga Rural (north), Punta de Rieles - Bella Italia (east), Bañados de Carrasco (east), Flor de Maroñas (south), Ituzaingó (south, southwest) and Las Acacias (west).

The boundaries of the neighborhood are the streets Camino Gral L Gomez , Urbino and Viti in the north, Rafael , Milan , and Camino Maldonado in the east, Osvaldo Cruz , Avenida J Belloni , Sainz Rosas , Jose Maria Guerra and Jose Shaw in the south to the southwest, while the Iguazu represents the north-western boundary of the Barrio. The area of Jardines del Hipodromo is the municipality of F assigned.

Infrastructure

In the barrio, the Danubio football club plays its home games in the Estadio Jardines del Hipódromo, which was finally built there in 1957 .
