Sarah Zierul

Sarah Zierul (* 1978 in Düsseldorf ) is a German journalist and documentary filmmaker .

Live and act

Sarah Zierul studied political and film studies in Cologne and Málaga from 1997 to 2002 . She then completed a traineeship at NDR in Hamburg.

Sarah Zierul works as an author, director and producer for television documentaries and magazine contributions for programs such as W wie Wissen , Quarks & Co , Monitor , Kulturjournal, Mare TV , Abenteuer Wissen , X: enius and ZDFzoom on ARD , WDR , NDR, ZDF and ARTE . She worked on several films on the subject of deep sea . Your film Who Owns the Sea? for the WDR series "die story" was awarded several national and international prizes.

Sarah Zierul has been co-managing director of Längengrad Filmproduktion in Cologne since 2015.
