Pasquale Irlando
Pasquale Irlando (born February 17, 1965 in Locorotondo ) is an Italian racing car driver who is closely associated with the Italian racing car manufacturer Osella .
Athletic career
Irlando drove his first kart races at the age of 12 . After some success in local kart race he had in the 1980s can achieve up Irlando 1987 participated for the first time at hill climb . In 1992 he won eight out of ten races in the Italian Hill Climbing Championship in an Osella PA9 / 90 and won the championship title.
From 1994, Irlando was one of the regular drivers in Enzo Osella's works team - initially at the side of Fabio Danti , who died in an accident in 2000 . With the newly developed Osella PA 20, Irlando was again Italian mountain champion in 1995. A little later, Irlando expanded his commitment to the European Hill Climb Championship . Here he won the championship title three times in a row (1997, 1998 and 1999). Irlando took part in the European Mountain Championship until 2007.
