Life

Pasqualino Cangiullo came to the Futurists at the age of 13 through his brother Francesco, which earned him the name "Pasqualino tredici anni". His first poem appeared in the magazine Vela Latina in 1916 , and he subsequently worked as a draftsman and journalist for various futuristic newspapers that - like L'Italia futurista - also published many of his testi paroliberi (words freed from typographical fetters). In 1918 he exhibited together with his brother in Rome and in 1919 in Milan at the Grande Esposizioni Nationale Futurista, which was also personally successful . In 1921 an exhibition followed in Ravenna , which he designed together with his brother as well as Gerardo Dottori , Virgilio Marchi and Ivo Panaggi . At the end of the 20s Pasqualino gave up his artistic activity and worked in the shipyards of Naples .
