Patricia Watson-Miller b. Schek (born July 20, 1965 in Wangen im Allgäu ) is a British motorcycle rally raid driver who was born and raised in Germany. She won the Dakar rally women's class three times.

biography

Patricia Watson-Miller is the daughter of the successful motorcycle enduro racing driver Herbert Schek , who became German, European and World Champion and took part in the Dakar Rally 15 times . She studied business informatics at the Konstanz University of Applied Sciences and is a qualified computer scientist . Today she lives in London and works as a business manager at Portigon AG , the successor organization to WestLB .

She started the Paris-Dakar Rally for the first time in 1988, but had to retire. In 1990 and 1991 she succeeded in winning the women's rally championship on a Schek BMW built by her father Herbert Schek. In 1992 she finished second on a Suzuki DR 350 - behind the then private driver Jutta Kleinschmidt on a BMW R 100 GS . In 2005 she won the title of Ladies World Champion at the Cross-Country Rally World Championship. In 2006 she started again in the Dakar Rally on a KTM EXC 525. She had a hard crash, but still managed to finish the rally in 67th place and won the women's championship for the third time. In 2008 she started the Transorientale Rally from St. Petersburg to Beijing and finished it 19th. In 2008 the Transorientale replaced the Dakar Rally, which was canceled this year due to terror warnings.
