Patricio Almonacid
Patricio Javier Almonacid González (born September 11, 1979 in Puerto Montt ) is a Chilean road cyclist .
In 2003 Patricio Almonacid won the overall ranking of the Vuelta de Chile Laboral . At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , he started in the road race and drove there for a long time together with Horacio Gallardo as an outlier, but then gave up. The following year, Almonacid was Chilean runner-up in the road race behind the winner José Aravena . At the Tour de l'Amitié de Tahiti , he won four stages and was third overall. In the 2011 season he was national runner-up in the time trial . In 2012 he won the overall ranking of the Vuelta Ciclista de Chile after winning the team time trial and another stage with his Clos de Pirque-Trek team.
