Patrick Bacqueville
Patrick Bacqueville (born August 13, 1950 in Kiel ) is a French jazz trombonist and singer .
Bacqueville began playing the banjo in 1975 ; then he switched to the trumpet. First he played in the quartet of Olivier Franc . In 1981 he founded the Slapcats quartet , with which he also accompanied Americans like Slim Gaillard traveling through . Since 1983 he was also part of François Biensan's Ellingtonmania ; he also played in the Parade Brass Band and the Paris Swing Orchestra . In 1996 he founded the Just Gigolos ensemble (from 1999 Gigolos ) in order to interpret the pop music of the 1970s with Pink Turtle today .
