Patrick Lachi Edema (born August 27, 1992 in Naalya , Uganda ) is a Ugandan football player .
Club career
Edema started his career in 2006 with the Proline Soccer Academy in Nakawa . In spring 2009 he left the PS Academy and signed with Nalubaale FC , where he had his first senior appearances. The club was dissolved in 2010 and he joined the successor club Proline FC in Buikwe . On January 17, 2012, he left Uganda and moved on loan to the Ethiopian record champions Saint-George SA . On September 3, 2012, he returned to Proline FC. After five months at Proline, he moved again on loan for two months to the Ugandan second division club SC Victoria University . In May 2013 he returned to Proline and completed a trial training session with CF Esperança Lagos in July 2013 . The Portuguese third division waived a commitment so that Edema continued to play for Proline.
National team
Edema has played for the Uganda national team since 2011 . In qualifying for the 2013 African Cup of Nations, he scored two goals in five appearances.
