Patrick Groc (born September 6, 1960 in Neuilly-sur-Seine ) is a former French foil fencer .
successes
Patrick Groc was in 1982 in Rome and 1987 in Lausanne each runner-up with the team. He took part in three Olympic Games : In 1984 he failed in Los Angeles with the French team in the semi-finals against Italy . With a subsequent 9-3 win against Austria in the battle for third place, Groc secured the bronze medal together with Marc Cerboni , Pascal Jolyot , Philippe Omnès and Frédéric Pietruszka . Four years laterhe was sixth with the team in Seoul , while he finished the individual competition in 40th place. At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona Groc placed 23rd in the singles. In the team competition he was seventh.
