Patrick Jahn (born February 22, 1983 in Berlin-Koepenick ) is a former German soccer player .

The defensive player Jahn went through the youth team of 1. FC Union Berlin in his hometown from 1989 before he joined Energie Cottbus in 2000 , for whose second team Jahn first appeared in 2001 in the Oberliga Nordost .

Through his performance in the second team, Jahn was temporarily appointed to the professional squad trained by Eduard Geyer in the 2002/03 season and made his debut in the top German division on May 10, 2003 when he came on as a substitute in the final phase of the game against TSV 1860 Munich has been. After another substitution on the following match day, Jahn was no longer considered in the first Cottbus team, which was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga as bottom of the table in the same season . Instead, Jahn ran again for the Lausitzer second team until he moved to FC Hansa Rostock in July 2005 , who had been relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga in the previous season.

In Rostock, too, Jahn initially played for the second team in the Oberliga Nordost, but with good performances he again recommended himself for appearances in the first team. Jahn was substituted on for the first time in the 2nd Bundesliga on April 2 of the 2005/06 season , whereupon coach Frank Pagelsdorf called him into the starting line-up in the following two games. However, Jahn did not come to further missions in Rostock's first team. Until December 2006 he played again in the Rostock league team and in January 2007 he moved to the Greifswalder SV 04 club .

With that of Andreas Zachhuber trained Greifswald team Jahn rose at the end of season 2006/07 in the league northeast to where this 2007/08 only fourth-rate, the walkover into, from 2008/09 Regional only missed in the relegation.

At the beginning of 2009, Jahn ended his football career for family reasons.
