Patrick Ludovicus Schmitz (born October 24, 1978 in Wiesbaden ) is a German theater actor , singer , voice actor and director .

Life

Schmitz comes from Wiesbaden, where he attended high school on Mosbacher Berg up to grade 12. Before and during his school days he was an extra at the Wiesbaden State Theater and took private singing lessons. He was seen regularly in the youth club of the Wiesbaden State Theater from 1998 to 2003.

From February 2001 he was trained as an actor at the state-recognized drama school in Mainz. In February 2004 he received his stage maturity. From 2004 to 2015 he was a member of the ensemble at the ETA-Hoffmann-Theater in Bamberg . Since then he has been working as a freelancer. Since summer 2015 he has been regularly engaged as one of the comedians at the Karl May Games in Bad Segeberg . Most recently as Antonio Ventevaglio in the play Unter Vultures - The Bear Hunter's Son .

Since 2008 he has also appeared regularly as Heinz Erhardt , whom he a. a. In 2015 he played at the Karl May Games (In the Valley of Death) and in 2017 in the Komödie am Altstadtmarkt (The Allotment Garden King).

He lives with his family in Stegaurach near Bamberg.
