Works

His fictional books are Marine - Thriller , each deals with a specific crisis. The titles of his marine thrillers are largely derived from a submarine or a class of submarines. With these novels Robinson achieved his international breakthrough. Exceptions to this are e.g. B. the title Nimitz Class , which denotes an American aircraft carrier class, and Deadly Flood - Scimitar SL-2 ; Scimitar SL-2 is the type designation of a (fictional) cruise missile.

The first four non-fiction books written by Robinson deal with thoroughbred horses , later he wrote about The Boat Race , particularly about 1987, when Oxford tried to get the title with American professional rowers ( True Blue ).

Robinson also co-wrote One Hundred Days , the biography of Admiral Sandy Woodward and a depiction of the Falklands War from his point of view as the commander of the British squadron.
