Patrick Philipp Schöpf (born March 29, 1969 in Dübendorf ) is a former Swiss ice hockey goalkeeper who played in the National League A between 1987 and 2006 for EV Zug and EHC Basel, among others . The goalkeeper became Swiss champions in 1998 with EV Zug .

Career

In 1991 Schöpf came from the National League B club SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers to EV Zug in the National League , where he then played for a total of 13 years. He took part in a total of three ice hockey world championships , was Swiss champion and runner-up several times, and played as a professional for 18 years. His 1998 championship jersey with the EV Zug is on display in the International Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.

Patrick Schöpf has two children from his first marriage and lives with Shawne Fielding on Lake Zug.

In 2018 he took part in the third season of The Stars ' Summer Home with Shawne Fielding .
