Shawne Rae Fielding (born June 27, 1969 in El Paso , Texas ) is a former professional American model and actress . As the former wife of Thomas Borer , the former Swiss ambassador to Germany , and due to her first husband, Charles Addison Williams, a heir to the Sammons dynasty, she received a lot of media attention, especially in the tabloids .

Life

Shawne Fielding graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing , Psychology and Advertising . Then she started her modeling career. In 1994 she was elected Miss Dallas . She was sixth in Miss Texas USA . When Mrs. Texas -Choice 1995 and in the choice of Mrs. America was third.

From 1999 to 2014 she was married to Thomas Borer for the second time. Both of their public appearances were mostly media-effective. Shawne Fielding-Borer continued to appear regularly in the media long after the "Borer Affair".

Her extravagant photo series, including as “Cowgirl from the Alm”, as “Cinderella” and as “Gunslinger” in Max magazine , led to diplomatic entanglements in 2001, during which Thomas Borer was dismissed as ambassador. However, after an apology from Fielding, the affair was shelved. Fielding attracted further media attention when she took legal action against a photo montage that showed her lightly dressed and "topless". Shawne Fielding is known as the Society Lady for her charitable work. She is currently President of the Swiss Foundation “Kids with a Cause Europe”. She was an ambassador for the SOS Children's Villages , an ambassador for the Swiss Expo.02 and honorary director of UNICEF Germany for special projects. She has been supporting the LGBT community since the early 1990s as a board member for Aids Arms in Dallas , Texas, USA, as honorary chairwoman of DIFFA and as an ambassador for Aids-Hilfe Schweiz.

Fielding and Thomas Borer have two children. In 2010, Thomas Borer submitted an application to regulate Shawne Fielding's separation, and the couple has been divorced since 2014.

Fielding lives with her new partner, the former ice hockey professional Patrick Schöpf , in Immensee in the canton of Schwyz . In 2018, she and her partner took part in the RTL format Das Sommerhaus der Stars - Kampf der Promipaare . The couple took second place.
