Djamila Rowe

Djamila Rowe (born August 1, 1967 in East Berlin ; also Djamile Rowe ) is a German make-up artist who became known through a fictitious affair with the Swiss ambassador Thomas Borer in 2002.

Life

Rowe was born in Berlin-Lichtenberg and grew up with her grandparents after her parents fled to the West. Rowe then came to the Crimmitschau youth work center . Rowe wanted to complete an apprenticeship as a saleswoman in the Intershop . According to their own account in the Berliner Kurier, this was prevented by the Ministry for State Security . Also after her portrayal , she fled the GDR in 1989 .

After German reunification , Rowe started working as a make-up artist in Berlin and also at KaDeWe in 1991 . In addition, she tried to establish herself as a model and also appeared as a nude dancer.

From 1997 to 2002 Rowe was in a relationship with a management consultant who is also the father of her son (* 1997). From 2004 to 2006, Rowe was engaged to another management consultant. From late 2006 to early 2007, Rowe had a brief relationship with Ferfried Prinz von Hohenzollern . Their daughter was born in 2009.

Borer affair

In 2002 Djamila Rowe became known in Germany through a fictitious affair with the then Swiss ambassador Thomas Borer . In the Swiss newspaper SonntagsBlick , Rowe claimed for a fee of 10,000 euros that he had an affair with Borer, which is said to have taken place on the night of March 21. Rowe later retracted this statement. The fabricated affair did not lead to Borer's transfer to Bern . However, Borer terminated his employment. Borer and Rowe stated in July 2002 that they knew each other but had not had an affair. The Ringier publishing house paid Borer after an out of court settlement for pain and suffering of Swiss over one million francs. Rowe was not prosecuted for the false testimony despite perjury .

Stalking process

In mid-2007, Djamila Rowe sued a 33-year-old man who had already been convicted of coercion . Rowe alleged stalking through sexually harassing messages. The proceedings were discontinued when the defendant made a payment of 200 euros.

Public performances

Djamila Rowe appeared as a model and erotic model . In addition, Rowe took in 2004 at the ProSieben - Reality - TV show The Alm part and had in the 2006 RTL II -Fernsehshow Big Brother a guest appearance. In 2017 she took part in Adam Seeks Eve - Celebrities in Paradise .
