Patrick Tilley

Patrick Tilley (born July 4, 1928 ) is an English author, graphic designer and screenwriter.

After studying art at Durham University , he went to London in 1955, where he became a successful graphic designer. From 1959 he worked part-time as a writer. In 1968 he gave up his profession as a designer to work as a screenwriter from then on.

His first book, Fade Out , was published in 1975 and is about the way the government and the military work in the style of a techno thriller. It has been translated into different languages.
