Patrick Weston Joyce (known as PW Joyce , * 1827 in the Ballyhoura Mountains ; † January 7, 1914 in Dublin ) was an Irish historian, writer, music collector and teacher, best known for his research on Irish etymology and the local place names of Ireland was.
