Patrick Zeilhofer

Patrick Zeilhofer (* 1964 ) is a German journalist and media manager .

Life

After studying architecture at the Technical University of Munich , he began a media career at Bayerischer Rundfunk and as a news editor, head of service and presenter at the private television station Tele 5 in Munich.

In 1993 Zeilhofer moved to RTL Television in Cologne, where he worked in the information area as editor and head of the service for the news programs RTL aktuell , RTL Nachtjournal and, from 1997, as editor-in-chief for the midday magazine Punkt 12 , and in 1999 the concept for a one-hour live -Ship developed from item 12.

In 2000 he became director of content / editor-in-chief at the RTL subsidiary RTL interactive and developed for the RTL broadcasting group u. a. the internet portals rtl.de, vip.de, wetter.de, gzsz.de. As Chief Creative Officer in Management, he was responsible for the areas of programming, marketing and communication.

From 2006 to 2008 Patrick Zeilhofer was managing director of "Sport1 GmbH", a company of Constantin Medien AG .

Since 2009 Zeilhofer has been working as an author for television, print, radio and digital media as well as a media consultant and producer. He is the owner of the company "Die Medienmacher" in Munich. He produces moving image content for television broadcasters (including reports and documentaries), internet portals and publishers.
