Patrik Klüft

Patrik Arne Klüft (born on June 3, 1977 in Gothenburg as Patrik Arne Kristiansson ) is a former Swedish pole vaulter .

At the Olympic Games in 2000 and 2004 he failed each in qualifying. At the European Indoor Championships in 2002 he won silver with 5.75 m, at the same height as the winner Tim Lobinger . At the European Championships in 2002 he was fourth. Also in 2002 he set his personal best of 5.85 m with the Swedish record at the time. He repeated this feat when he jumped 5.85 m to bronze at the 2003 World Championships in Paris .

Kristiansson was Swedish champion in 1998 and 2001 to 2003. He announced his resignation on January 16, 2008.

With a height of 1.92 m, his competition weight was 83 kg. His wife is the heptathlete Carolina Klüft .
