The Pauk Lake ( English ; Russian Озеро Паук Osero Pauk , German ' Spinnensee ' ) is a lake on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . In the southeastern section of the Vestfold Mountains, it lies south of the Trajer Ridge .

Aerial photographs were taken during the US operation Highjump (1946–1947), during a Soviet Antarctic expedition in 1956, and in 1957 and 1958 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated the Russian name into English in 1973.
