Paul Anton Fedor Konstantin Possart

Paul Anton Fedor Konstantin Possart (* 1808 in Züllichau ; † May 8, 1860 ) was a German private scholar and librarian .

Life

Possart worked as a teacher, preacher and editor before he worked out a Anhaltische Landeskunde in Bernburg in 1854 . From 1856 he was a librarian there until he died in 1860. He wrote writings on geographic topics and textbooks. Since 1839 he was a corresponding member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences.
