Paul Bruehl

Paul Brühl (born February 7, 1876 in Hirschberg , † October 27, 1950 in Berlin ) was a German politician of the USPD .

Life and work

After attending the elementary school in Friedeberg a.Queis in Silesia , Brühl completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter in Berlin, which he completed in 1894 with the journeyman's examination.

Political party

Brühl, originally a member of the SPD , switched to the newly founded USPD in 1917 to protest against the party's approval of the war loans . When the USPD majority united with the KPD , he stayed with the minority, which rejoined the SPD in 1922.

MP

Brühl was a member of the Weimar National Assembly in 1919/20 . He was then a member of the Reichstag until 1924 .
