Paul Duppenthaler (* 1917 in Birsfelden ; † June 13, 1986 ) was a Swiss musician. He was one of the most famous yodellers in the country.

Duppenthaler took music lessons at the age of six. At the age of 16 he was vice conductor in the Basel church choir . As a trained conductor, he has led a large number of yodelling clubs since 1950 . In 1964 he became a referee at the Northwestern Swiss Yodelling Festival. In 1976 he became an honorary member of the Northwestern Switzerland Yodelling Association. Another highlight of his musical life was the award of the golden treble clef in 1980.
