Paul Laubmann
Paul Bernhard Laubmann (born October 21, 1860 in Joditz ; † October 26, 1917 in Munich ) was a German genre, history and landscape painter. Laubmann was the son of a pastor. He spent his youth in Weidenberg ( Upper Franconia ).
Laubmann studied from October 15, 1880 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich under Franz von Defregger . From 1889 he went on study trips to Berlin, Paris and Italy. He then settled in Munich and stayed there for life. He became a member of the General German Art Cooperative .
