Paul Marziniak

Paul Marziniak (born January 5, 1916 in Eickel or in Wanne , † October 3, 1978 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1954 to 1970 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Paul Marziniak completed an apprenticeship as a lathe operator after attending primary school . He was active in this profession until 1937 when he was called up for military service and then for military service. He was taken prisoner of war, from which he was released in 1945.

Marziniak joined the SPD in 1945, since 1948 he was active in various party offices at the district and district association level. In 1948 he became a city councilor in Wanne-Eickel, and from 1952 he was chairman of the SPD parliamentary group . From 1953 to 1956 he was a member of the Landscape Assembly Westphalia-Lippe . Marziniak was elected from the third to the sixth electoral term as a direct candidate in constituency 99 and 102 (Wanne-Eickel) in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament, he was a member of parliament from July 13, 1954 to July 25, 1970.
