Paul Mijksenaar (* 1944 ) is a Dutch designer in visual information, as well as founder and director of the Mijksenaar design office for information design based in Amsterdam and New York City .

Mijksenaar deals with the planning and creation of people guidance systems at train stations, airports and other public buildings, and specializes in the design of visual information and signage . His best-known projects include the control systems for New York's JFK , LaGuardia and Newark airports , as well as the control system for Schiphol , Amsterdam Airport.

In addition to his freelance work as a designer, he teaches visual information design as a professor at the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands.
