Paul Mouy

Paul Mouy (* 1888 in Lille ; † October 8, 1946 in Paris ) was a French historian of science who mainly dealt with Cartesian physics.

Mouy was a philosophy teacher at French grammar schools (lyceums) and an active member of the Center international de synthèse in Paris by Henri Berr and Aldo Mieli .

As a philosopher he was influenced by Léon Brunschvicg .
