Paul Nayrac

Paul Nayrac (* 1899 in Algiers ; † 1973 ) was a French neurologist .

Life

After his medical training in Algiers and Lille , Nayrac was appointed professor of neurology at the University of Lille in 1941 , where he played a decisive role in the development of the department. He also taught medical psychology . His discourse L'angoisse de Saint-Exupéry , which he gave in 1961 as President of the French Congress of Psychiatry and Neurology , became one of his most famous publications. Nayrac became president of the Société Française de Neurologie . For his services he was awarded the title of Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur .
