Paul Ohlmeyer

Paul Ohlmeyer (born January 10, 1908 in Münster , † January 31, 1977 in Tübingen ) was a German chemist.

Life

After studying chemistry Ohlmeyer 1933 was Berlin with Hans Pringsheim to Dr. phil. PhD . From 1934 he was a scientific assistant at the Institute for Physiology of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg . There he completed his habilitation in 1940 at the Medical Faculty with a thesis on the subject of "On the co-fermentation system of fermentation". In 1948 he was appointed adjunct professor and became director at the Leibniz College at the University of Tübingen.
