Paul Rees

Paul Rees (born April 20, 1986 ) is a British automobile racing driver . His father is the former Formula 1 driver Alan Rees .

Career

Rees made in 2003 in the winter series of the British Formula Renault his first experience in Formula racing . After a one-year break, the Brit returned to motorsport and started in the British Formula BMW , in which he finished the season in 23rd place overall. He also took part in two races of the US Formula BMW. In 2006 Rees stayed in the British Formula BMW and improved to 18th place in the drivers' championship.

2007 Rees returned to the British Formula Renault and finished 21st overall in this championship. He also took part in two French Formula Renault races. In 2008 the Briton switched to Formula Palmer Audi for two years . After finishing the first season in ninth place overall, he finished seventh in the championship in 2009 with five podium finishes.

2010 joined Rees also available from Jonathan Palmer organized Formula 2 . From the fifth race weekend on, he no longer competed. At the end of the season he finished 18th overall.
